HAMILTON -- The Toronto Argonauts controlled the game on OK Tire Labour Day Weekend, defeating the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 37-22 on Monday afternoon.
From timely defensive stops to big plays on offence, the Argos found ways to keep the Tiger-Cats at bay at Hamilton Stadium.

3 - CHAD KELLY PASSING TOUCHDOWNS
Chad Kelly connected on three touchdown passes in his team's win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Monday afternoon. The Argos' pivot found three different receivers for touchdowns, Damonte Coxie, Jake Herslow and David Ungerer III.
Ungerer III's late, fourth-quarter major score came after the Tiger-Cats pulled within eight points, putting the Argonauts back into a comfortable lead.
3 - TURNOVERS FORCED BY ARGONAUTS DEFENCE
There were three turnovers by the Argonauts defence on Monday, including two timely takeaways and one that all but sealed their win.
DaShaun Amos picked off Harrison Frost to start the second half and returned it 55 yards down to the Ticats' two-yard line. Toronto immediately cashed in on the turnover, with rookie running back Isaiah Smith scoring his first touchdown of his CFL career.
Later, as Hamilton's offence was rolling and was inside the red zone, Benjie Franklin stripped Kenny Lawler of the football and recovered it himself. While Toronto didn't score any points after the turnover, it did stop the Ticats from scoring any of their own.
And finally, with under a minute to go in the game and Hamilton going for it on third down, the Argos' defence forced a turnover on downs to seal the win.
100 - DAMONTE COXIE RECEIVING YARDS
Damonte Coxie was Kelly's favourite target in the Labour Day Classic win, hauling in six of the eight passes thrown his way for exactly 100 yards and a touchdown.
Coxie also reached an important milestone in the contest, passing 1,000 yards for the first time in his CFL career in front of his family in the stands.
