TORONTO – Week 13 has come and gone, and we were treated to exciting matchups and great individual performances.
From running back Dedrick Mills making defenders miss to KeeSean Johnson being looked upon to move the chains, players across the league showed off their skills.
Here are five PFF grades and statistics that stood out from Week 13.
DEDRICK MILLS | RUNNING BACK | CALGARY STAMPEDERS | 87 YARDS AFTER CONTACT
Dedrick Mills was a man on a mission in Week 13, and it wasn’t just because of his game-winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
Mills was tough for any defender to take down, leading the league with 87 yards after contact and forcing a week-high six missed tackles, according to PFF. The Stampeders running back finished his day with 118 yards on 14 carries and hauled in all four passes thrown his way for 23 yards.
ZACH COLLAROS | QUARTERBACK | WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS | 82.2 PASSING GRADE
Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Zach Collaros earned the week’s top passing grade (82.2), according to PFF.
The Bombers QB completed 81.3 per cent of his passes for 324 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in his team's statement win over the Montreal Alouettes.
KEESEAN JOHNSON | RECEIVER | SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDERS | 8 RECEIVING FIRST DOWNS
If Trevor Harris needed a first down, he looked no further than KeeSean Johnson.
According to PFF, eight of Johnson’s 10 receptions were for first downs, helping his team move the chains against the Argonauts. Johnson finished his night with 146 yards and a touchdown.
TARVARUS MCFADDEN | DEFENSIVE BACK | TORONTO ARGONAUTS | 3 PASSES BROKEN UP
Don’t let the late offside penalty against Tarvarus McFadden blind you from how well the Argonauts cornerback played against the Roughriders.
McFadden had the most passes broken up (three) in Week 13, according to PFF. He tallied three tackles along with the trio of PBUs, including one on third down to deny a touchdown. The defensive back came up with big plays when his team needed them throughout the contest, earning a coverage grade of 82.7.
ZANDER HORVATH | RUNNING BACK | BC LIONS | 15 RUSHING FIRST DOWNS
Zander Horvath had an outstanding Week 13, scoring four touchdowns in his team’s fifth-straight win.
The running back carried the rock 24 times, 15 of which moved the sticks for a first down, according to PFF. He totalled 164 yards on the ground and also added 30 yards through the air on four catches.
