Adarius Pickett headlines Week 16 Players of the Week

TORONTO -- Adarius Pickett, Jalen Philpot and Justin Hardy have been named Week 16 Players of the Week in the Canadian Football League (CFL). The honour spotlights exceptional statistical performances, pivotal plays, game-breaking feats and more.

The three players were chosen by a panel composed of representatives from the CFL’s Football Operations, Player and Game Statistics, and Content departments.

  1. ADARIUS PICKETT | LB | TORONTO ARGONAUTS | EDM 19 – TOR 24

    • 13 defensive tackles to set a season-high and match a career-high

    • Third double-digit defensive tackle game of career and first since 2023

    • One sack for a loss of five yards

    • One pass knockdown

    • 500 career total tackles (423 defensive and 77 special teams)

  2. JALEN PHILPOT | REC | CALGARY STAMPEDERS | OTT 38 – CGY 40

    • Career-high nine receptions for 118 yards; second 100-yard+ game of the season and third of career

    • One touchdown reception, a 26-yard effort in the fourth quarter

    • Averaged 13.1 yards per reception

    • 53 yards after catch

  3. JUSTIN HARDY | REC | OTTAWA REDBLACKS | OTT 38 – CGY 40

    • Career-high 12 receptions for a season-high 129 yards

    • Third 100-yard+ game of the season

    • One touchdown reception, a 15-yard effort to tie the game with 1:17 remaining in the fourth quarter

    • Three second-down conversion receptions

    • Averaged 10.8 yards per reception

    • 32 yards after catch
