CFL Weekly Fantasy users who had Winnipeg’s Zach Collaros on Mobil Thanksgiving Weekend were rewarded with 20.4 Fantasy Points.

The Week 20 edition of sleepers has a quartet of players who will be worth the value.

JERRETH STERNS | RECEIVER | MONTREAL ALOUETTES

Jerreth Sterns was poised for a monster season after scoring 20.4 FP against Toronto in Week 2, but injuries sidelined him until Week 18. A 6.6 FP outing was topped on Mobil Thanksgiving Weekend with another 20.4 Fantasy Points, as Sterns caught all eight of his targets for 124 yards.

Tyson Philpot and Tyler Snead are All-CFL locks, yet it’s Sterns who could develop into the Als’ most fantasy viable receiver in the last two weeks of the regular season. He gets a favourable matchup against a Saskatchewan pass defence allowing 316.6 yards per game and 34 passing majors, and at $7,800, Sterns should top his projected total of 11 FP.

DORIAN SINGER | RECEIVER | WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS

How did Dorian Singer not get on the field until Week 14? He’s a major contributor to the Blue Bombers’ run to the postseason, as his 166 yards on Mobil Thanksgiving Weekend was the second time in three games of over 113 yards for the newcomer, who’s playing more like a West Division All-CFLer. Singer’s 21.6 Fantasy Points marked his third contest of at least 17.2 FP in his five games in the league.

The rookie receiver has a knack for large gains, averaging 19 yards per catch, and just made his career-long catch of 52 yards this past Saturday against the Stamps. He’s producing well beyond his $6,900 salary and makes for a good fantasy anchor even against a solid Edmonton pass defence.

SHUNDERRICK POWELL | RUNNING BACK | EDMONTON ELKS

Justin Rankin remains the clear choice in the Elks’ backfield, yet ShunDerrick Powell continues to maximize his opportunities when touches fall his way. Powell led Edmonton with 49 rushing yards on Mobil Thanksgiving Weekend, with one of his nine carries resulting in his second touchdown of the season. He’s averaging 6.7 yards per carry as a complement to Rankin, who is second in the league with 1,667 yards from scrimmage.

The Elks want to keep Rankin fresh entering the postseason, so don’t be too surprised if Powell gets another week of extensive work against Winnipeg. That could translate into 12-15 Fantasy Points at a bargain.

JOHNNY JOHNSON III | RECEIVER | SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDERS

The Roughriders have found a number of receivers who have filled the void left behind by a rash of injuries at the position. Johnny Johnson III has been at the centre for the past three weeks, having caught 16 passes for 166 yards and a major. His production has held up despite the dominant run from Kian Schaffer-Baker, who is Saskatchewan’s REC1 since his return to the lineup.

Only a game removed from a 19.3 FP performance against Calgary, Johnson III’s $8,600 salary is a strong fantasy play, especially since the Riders will need the right arm of Trevor Harris to help them overcome Montreal on Saturday.
