TORONTO -- Just five weeks remain in the regular season, and it's still anyone's game on the field and in the CFL.ca writers' standings.
Jamie Nye still sits first, but Kristina Costabile and Vicki Hall are just two games behind him. Pat Steinberg and Matt Cauz are tied, just three games back from Kristina and Vicki.
With things so tight in the standings, what happens in Week 17?
TORONTO AT WINNIPEG
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 8:00 P.M. ET TSN, RDS, CBSSN, CFL+
The Toronto Argonauts made a statement in Week 16, defeating the West-leading Edmonton Elks to improve their home record to 4-0. Chad Kelly and his Argos clinched a playoff spot and a home playoff date in the win and now head to Winnipeg to take on the Blue Bombers. Winnipeg returns from a Week 16 bye and in the first day of practice on Monday had their starting quarterback, Zach Collaros, as a non-participant. The writers aren't certain about who wins this one, but most are rolling with the Argonauts.

SASKATCHEWAN AT BC
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 10:30 P.M. ET TSN, CFL+
Friday night's late game is a big one for positioning in the West. The Lions are just two points behind the Riders, sitting third in the division. Both are returning from a week of rest, meaning there is an even playing field for the clubs. The Lions are winners of six of their last seven games while the Riders have won two of their last three. Only Pat thinks that Saskatchewan will get the two points at BC Place.

CALGARY AT OTTAWA
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 3:00 P.M. ET TSN, RDS2, CTV, CRAVE, CFL+
The second half of the home-and-home between the Stampeders and REDBLACKS gets underway on Saturday afternoon in the nation's capital. Calgary won last week's contest on a walk-off, 62-yard field goal from Rene Paredes. Things almost went the REDBLACKS way, with McLeod Bethel-Thompson throwing five touchdown passes in his first start with Ottawa. Three of the experts are rolling with the home team to get their first win of the season in Week 17.

HAMILTON AT EDMONTON
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 7:00 P.M. ET TSN, CFL+
Edmonton was on a four-game winning streak before they were handed a loss last week by the Toronto Argonauts. Still the leaders of the West Division, the Elks now host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in Week 17's finale. Hamilton lost their fourth-straight game last week against the Als and they now need wins to stay in the playoff conversation. Will they start with a win on Saturday? None of the writers think so.
